June 10, 2023 – Deitra was honored by the City of Chicago on June 10th 2023 by Mayoral Proclamation at the Chicago Blues Festival.

April 7, 2023 – Deitra has been nominated for the 2023 Blues Music Awards “Traditional Blues Female” category (The Koko Taylor Award)

October 4, 2015 – Deitra was inducted into The Chicago Blues Hall of Fame as a “Legendary Blues Artist” at Buddy Guy’s Legends nightclub.

December 9, 2016 – Deitra won the National Southern Soul Foundation’s ” Most Popular Blues Artist Award”.

August 3, 2017 – Deitra received the Jus Blues Music Foundation “Koko Taylor Queen of the Blues Award”.
